Grabbed this off my live feed this afternoon.

Cannot say I can put a name to it.

The bright flash over its eye seems to ring a bell in the depths of my brain but its too hot .

Best viewed on full screen.

Could be a Corn Bunting, long tail short stubby beak. A fast declining species.

Are you sure its not a female greenfinch ??

The female is not as 'green' as the male.

Well we now have 4 contenders for this unusual bird.

1 - Corn Bunting

2 - Green Finch

3 - Linnet

4 - Young Chaffinch

Any other ideas folks.

I would say a juvinile Chaffinch.

Corn buntings are stockier then this one is.

My first thought was also a Chaffinch but can't really identify it from the video.

@Graham, can you pull a frame or two from the video?
