Bottletopburly Posted September 28, 2022 Share Posted September 28, 2022 So last night had a go on Jupiter and Saturn with the zwo 585mc , woeful frame rates then noticed sharpcap reporting connecting via usb2, (firecature wasn’t any better actually worse as image very dim despite trying different settings)tried every setting, usb bandwidth etc  so checked direct connection to pc and reports usb3 , so need to find the weak link I think it may be the hub will do some fault finding later , hopefully Jupiter and Saturn files have some good data though not expecting much , we will see. +RonC 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bottletopburly Posted October 1, 2022 Author Share Posted October 1, 2022 Initial test using a different usb3 active cable plugged into hub without powering hub and camera recognised as usb3 so seems old cable may have fault just need to load hub with all my other peripherals just to check there’s nothing else causing a fault , checked camera in sharp cap and 640x 480 roi gives about 192fps which is better than 13 fps 😂 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
