APT image brightness

Hi folks. Is there anything in APT that helps as a guide to judge how bright the background in my images is, so I don't overcook things? Or is it something that's just done by eye?

Same with me, I use a Skyglow filter.

Cool. I've been using an LPS filter so far, hopefully Santa's elves are hard at work on a dual band filter as it's the only thing on my Christmas list 😁

One last question on the subject. Using a DSLR, could I combine data captured with my LPS filter and a dual band filter if I got enough time on a suitable target with each one?
