Was this taken Saturday evening Rob ??

The seeing was a bit ropey up at WW, mostly poor, with some better spells mixed in.

Mars is approaching its best, and it was nice to have a full evening of planetary observing.

Very nice, the colours are brilliant! Have you bought that specially for planetary imaging?

Thanks, it still is way fuzzier than I was hoping. Maybe seeing wasn't ever going to let me get too sharp anyway, but I've never yet experienced what "not terrible" seeing looks like! I did buy it for planetary, only £200 secondhand.

Saturday evening yeah. As above I've no idea what it _could_ look like so I just crack on regardless!

Have you applied any sharpening tools (eg deconvolution or wavelets) to the image?

I took it into Registax and did "something" yes, I haven't really got a clue what it was I was doing, however...
