I was looking at it last night Phil, and tried to see if i could spot NGC 2158 as well

but thats a non starter from home (irrespective of scope)

 

But you have imaged it here nicely....

TVM Rob, I always use NGC 2158 as an indicator for sky conditions, an 80mm should show it nicely under dark skies but the slightest sky glow or LP will swamp it.

 

The colours show the age difference between clusters, M35 young blue white and 2158 older reddish stars
