Collimating Mak-Newt (specifically MN190)

Hi all - I think I need to collimate my MN190 and am highly terrified of this prospect. Does anyone have any "go to" instructions for achieving this perhaps??

thanks!

I think Ron or Clive on here used to have this scope until recently,

and would be a good bet to help you out.

I had no problems collimating my MN190. treated it exactly the same as any other Newtonian scope.

What device are you using? I used a laser collimator and found it kept it spot on for a long time.

Thanks @RonC - I have collimated a 200PDS before now with (as far as I could tell) reasonable results. Do I not need to adjust the bolts on the front of the corrector plate at all? I do need to do some reading up to be honest, but that was kind of the reason for the original post: to ask if anyone had anywhere I should go and read up... Thanks!

Yes you may need to adjust the corrector plate screws but not by much.

Plenty of YouTube video's about collimation.
