New Streetlights, big improvement

We had new streetlights fitted last autumn and they've made a big difference, there's a lot less sky glow from these, my back garden is definitely darker.

this image I took tonight on my phone from behind the light at the corner of my street.

And this one was a while back from our back bedroom on a foggy morning, and it illustrates how much the light shines downwards.

When Corby moved over too led it made a considerable difference the orange sky glow went overnight, plus they fitted less lampposts and removed some lighting entirely though they made lampposts higher to account for less lamposts which was the only negative.

Shame about them making them higher I think our lampposts are actually a bit shorter than the old ones
