M42 in HOO

Have never imaged this in narrowband so went big and did 300s subs and paid the price with a blown core even in linear state, ah well. May collect some shorter subs and patch them in if I get a chance. Only 1h15m of data in HOO.

It may be me but I always think that the Orion Nebula looks more like a crab than the Crab Nebula?

If you look up William Parson's original 1884 sketch of what he coined the Crab Nebula, I think it looks more like a pineapple.

Anyway cracking image Rob, almost 3-dimensional.
