philjay Posted February 12, 2023 Share Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) I had tube rings with my old mak 180, a useful modification. The previous owner sourced them from Orion Optics UK. They just needed an extra layer of felt internally and they fitted a treat The fixed dovetail bar needs to be removed ideally to make full use of the rings and this necessitates removal of the meniscus because there are nuts on the inside side of the tube.
