I've read the spec on the scope, and to be honest everything they say i take with a grain of salt. I'm sure it performs well enough. What it will do though, is be a decent jump in performance in visual viewing, particularly planetary type viewing, over a 4 inch scope. Are you thinking of bigger aperture now over 4 inch ?
