Ahh clear skies for a change , grabbed a few frames on Thors helmet and then slewed to a Galaxy at the back end of coma bernecies ngc 4735 I think it was , mount failed to flip, though I know why but hey ho I had messed with a setting and forgot to change back , platesolve3 works like a dream though and I managed out of curiosity to grab a few frames from M16 ,now wether it was good conditions but inane amount of Ha showing in my 180 sec subs , still not happy with the Baader coma corrector so I’m thinking of going for a Ts optics version https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p3822_TS-Optics-NEWTONIAN-Coma-Corrector-0-95x-Maxfield---3-element---2--connection.html I think Altair have the same one rebranded and I’ve seen images on astrobin it’s a three element /  m48 thread , and clear skies forecast later too 😱.

Excellent! The paint was still drying on my OTA so didn't get out last night.

What problems do you have with the baader mpcc? I've held on to mine after I sold the 150PDS.

Maybe that's why I was having trouble, I put it down to the focuser tube poking out in the tube and possibly other unknow factors 🤔 Is it over the whole image or just part of it?
