Popular Post Magellan Boy Posted May 24, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted May 24, 2023 Derby & District AS secretary Brian Dodson and I had a very successful EAA session at our Flamsteed Observatory on the evening of Sunday, 7th May 2023. Here are M13, M51 and M57 captured using an Altair GPCAM 327C through an 80mm Altair Starwave ED refractor. The refractor was piggybacled on a 10" Meade SCT, and mounted on an NEQ6 mount. These are live stacks using Altair capture, and no guiding or processing was employed. We were amazed at how much detail you can pull out in a few minutes (seconds even) with this kind of setup.
