Nb filter  question , so over a period I’ve built up some filters I have Astronomik LRGB 1.25 filters and a Astronomik s11 6nm do I buy the matching ha and o3 filters in this set or pick up a different make will it matter ? I was thinking I would buy the corresponding filters if they popped up over time but new camera has brought that forward , now another question I have a duoband LExtreme filter and had read you can use this as a lum filter , is that a good idea or just shoot using the Astronomik L filter ?

I have ZWO filters for all but Oiii where I bought the 4.5Nm Antlia one in the hope of getting a bit more definition and contrast. Seems to have paid off. Lucky because wasn't cheap!

I have mixed a Ha 12nm and 7nm  also the 7nm and a 3 when I have had the duel rig on the mount.

In answer to your question.

I would keep with the Astronomik filters as they are par focal with each other so no refocusing when changing filters.

Cheers Graham , what are your thoughts on using a duoband as lum or just use the lum filter from the Lrgb set .
