I spoke to a warden while in the hide and there is only one even though someone reported four the other day. As far as I know it's been there about seven days. It is never seen after 10 am and has only been seen once before it got to dark, so 6 to 9 is the best time.

About 28 years ago I worked at Attenborough Quarry as a fitter and one of my jobs was the holiday and sickness relief on the barges that travelled between Attenborough and Long Eaton, I used to see them then but I haven't seen one for well over 25 years at Attenborough.
