Scope on a budget

To view Jupiter + Moons a good pair of bins would work I bet, but any scope should be fine, I can't really recommend anything as I'm no expert but I have a Skywatcher 200p and a celestron c90 and they are both great.

You'd be looking at circa £150-£250 (new prices) for a good basic scope that works well. £100-£200 will get a good second hand one under two years old. Scopes in this range will be similar to the 130P, 150P, and 200P, and the price will vary depending on how you mount it (dobsonian, alt/az, or equatorial) and wether or not it has tracking or "goto". :)
