I'm in one of my "solar curious" phases again and note a couple of PSTs are for sale not too far away. I gather these are mainly for visual use but I'm really not a visual kinda guy. Apparently they're problematic to achieve focus with but that the 174MM-mini is a half decent bet.

 

Has anyone got any views or experience on this? Will it be a waste of time?! Thanks in advance.
