This video was posted on another group I'm part of. I thought it might be worth a watch as a good few of us have a number of these things in our homes.

As they seem likely to increase in number as well, we really need to be careful with them.

Thanks for sharing this Martyn, a really fascinating presentation.

 

It should be required viewing really.

 

One case in point : the Luton airport multi storey carpark fire. As may as 1500 cars destroyed and hundreds of flights delayed / cancelled.

Yet the state media (propaganda) departments are all very quick to tell us it was a diesel car which caught fire.

Of course it was.

My direct experience was with a radio control helicopter battery, no bigger than a small box of matches, on charge. My mate said, "is that whistling noise the charger cooling fan coming on", at which point 2' long flames exited each end of the battery, and the battery and the table it was on got thrown out of the workshop window, that luckily was open. It burnt outside for another 5 minutes.
