Ngc 457 -Dragofly Cluster

NGC 457 approx 1hr of 30 sec exposures using zwo585mc , used darks  ran through Graxpert  which done an amazing job stacked in DSS , processing in startools, ran through Siril reduce stars script, autofocus issue resolved and autofocus ran perfectly, which I think is down to weight of the atik on my refractor or autofocus not liking ccd but the 585 ran like a dream not bad for an uncooled camera at 12 degrees.

Stars went a bit wrong in processing, will run through again in when I get a minute , tonight looks clear need to re polar align  and calibrate, I hadn’t figured last night being clear for a few hours and had initially set up to see if I could autofocus using a different camera which using 46 steps , 15 points and 0.3 sec exposures using Invpower method in APT worked amazingly well

I thought the zwo585mc was more of a planetary camera than DSO?

It is but it’s quite a capable Dso camera, I think player one have released a cooled version too
