Hi everyone, I used to browse this site around a year ago and came to a meet up at Belper with plans of becoming a dark site member but as is always the case, life got in the way.

I'm hoping to get back into this site and Possibly get dark site membership at a later date.

Good to have you back. Hope to see you at a dark site as soon as we have any clear skies. Tell us about what you do..

I'm solely visual pretty much, I do have a 70mm ed frac and DSLR which I may use once in a blue moon but my primary scopes are an 8" dob and 5" mak. I also do a bit of sketching which helps me relax in an evening.

Sounds good Adam, I'm mainly photographic, but there are a good few visual guys around. Where are you based?

J28 of the M1. On the Notts/Derbys border. Only about 20 odd mins from Belper

Ah, interesting. Can’t immediately think of anyone else around there, but a lot not too far. I’m In Holloway, near Cromford, 10 mins from Tannenbaum

Oh yeah, I know where Cromford is. I'm also a member of sherwood observatory (Mansfield and Sutton astronomical society).
