Following advice on the forum captured image in RAW, opened them up in DSS but it only shows a thin vertical strip of the image. Converting to Jpeg and trying again working on Jpeg version shows full image. What am I doing wrong with the RAW images ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tbird Posted September 24, 2012 Author Share Posted September 24, 2012 This is same issue I have although I'm using a 1100D http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1038785 I've not upgraded because it seems only available on the Yahoo group. I'll wait until an upgrade is generally available, I'm only playing about with it at the minute. I'll convert the RAW files to jpegs, and keep the RAWs. It is something to do with the RAW format on the later Cannons that DSS cannot read. Have a word with Pat to see how he overcame this issue.
