My turn this month.

 

As ever, a big thank you for all your stunning photos this month. The standard of back yard astrophotography is just getting so high, which makes this job harder every time I drop in to do it. I don't envy Phil!

Astronomer, Reinvented gave us our only double star image with Gamma Arietis 

 

 

And he also leads us in to our solar images with Nov 5th white light

 

and Nov 11th White light 

 

 

 

Ibbo gave us several renditions of the sun, Sol 11-11-23 Ha

Sticking with theme Graham gave us a short video Northern Lights come to Suffolk.

 

 

 

Astronommer, Reinvented had a few this month with Crab nebula

Ibbo busy again with Orion on the Rise, Orion on the rise

 

Glafnazur gave us Jupiter and the Moon

 

 

On to the moon, looking at our Luna selection.

 

Astronomer, Reinvented gave us several luna close up's like this one, 

 

 

Philjay, It's allowed when he's not the judge! Luna 24th November

 

And on with the Halos, a magical sight.

And to finish off the Luna section, Derbyshire Daves' Moon over Florence Cathedral,

 

Planetary, and Jupiter getting plenty of love this month.

 

Graham gave us a "quick grab" of Jupiter,

 

and followed up with a time lapse,

and a widefield view from Derbyshire Dave,

 

 

And one from Ibbo in IR,

 

 

So again some stunning images, its been really difficult and I'm stuck between two, but I think Ibbo's B26 RGB has to take it this month. Just a stunning image. 

 

Closely followed by Bob Dobbler's M45 Messier 45 - the Pleiades

 

and his Wizard nebula Wizard Nebula in SHO

Well done Steve. Getting an image of something emitting light is one thing, getting one of a dark object and doing it well is outstanding.
