Knobs & Klingons on the Starboard Bow

Twenty-one sessions! That's great, Dave. I'm looking forward to two weeks off for Christmas. I hope the weather will be conducive to some serious stargazing. I sometimes like to go to the local observatory and peer through the big 1 meter Cassegrain (it gets a bit cold in there this time of year though). Also, I just discovered that I can remove the eyepiece holder from the focuser on my Orion Astroview 6 reflector so I can attach a T-ring and image with it now (hooray)! I want to do more deep sky but I'm not a fan of stacking hundreds of photos, lol. Wish me luck! And watch out for those Klingons 😜

Regards and yuletide greetings!

Reggie

Cheers. I hope you get some good weather in that fortnight Reggie. It gets cold in the sub-tropics? Weird. Mind you, we may have different perceptions of what 'cold' is. It's cold when you can't feel your extremities (brass monkey weather). That's good news about the 6" Orion focuser, just remember that taking stuff to pieces is easier than putting it back together. I don't even know what 'deep sky stacking' actually is. Isn't there an app for it lol?

I hope Father Christmas brings you something groovy. Have a great winter vacation. Clear skies!

Thanks, Dave, same to you. I'm still groovin' on Broken Peach! I've been playing "Sleigh Ride" incessantly 😄

Very cute!

I blame Google's AI, it keeps recommending videos like these and Lady GaGa singles. SkyNet it ain't! lol

*Arnold Schwarzenegger voice*: "I want your clothes, your boots, your motorcycle and your slightly pervy videos of dancing young ladies in short skirts ... "
