Popular Post +Derbyshire Dave Posted January 24 Popular Post Share Posted January 24 Had a crack at NGC 2174, the monkey head nebula, over two nights last week. Might be the last two nights in a while by the look of it!! This is a target I had tackled wide field before with IC443, the Jellyfish, but had not tackled it alone. 39 x 300 secs Ha, 39 x 300 secs Oiii, 48 x 300 secs Sii , just over 10 hours of data. Taken through the GT81 using the zwo 183mm mono cooled camera, guiding using PHD2. Processed in SHO Hubble palette in PixInsight, finished off in Photoshop.
