Breaking the seal

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I want to change the finder shoe on my Meade Mak, but to do that I need to get to the bolts inside the tube. Am I best off just buying/making an adapter rather than opening it up?

An adaptor would be a good move, you may want to sell the OTA at some point?

Good point. I'm starting to think a 3D printer might be a good idea. I'd best get some overtime in at work

@NightsporeGot one of them, one of my fave bits of kit. The OTA has an ES type finder bracket, all my bits have vixen fittings. I don't think it'll be too hard to knock up an adapter.
