Nice image there Steve.

 

I've often noticed that bright star before on Leo triplet images (M65, M66, NGC 3628) which is the bright one, centre right in your image

and wondered what it was, and have even mistaken it for Chertan, Theta Leonis before, which it isn't.

 

Its actually a fairly ordinary 7th magnitude star, and goes by the name of HD 98388. Nothing exciting ! 😀
