I was up early this morning and the sky was lovely. Even Sirius was only twinkling a little bit. The air must have been very steady.

Smashing pic Paul - it's very crisp and sharp - tiny tad of trailing so PA might need the once over - a few more subs and I reckon the running man would come out clearly too :)

No polar scope on the cg 5, allignment was just by eye through the hole :lol: ! No modding 'til its out of warranty

Apparently everyone likes the Bahtinov masks for focusing, simple, cheap and accurate.

I bought a 2nd hand film camera with a couple of lenses with it on ebay a couple of years ago. I was pleased when I found a pentax k - canon eos adapter on the net so I can use the old lenses.

Thats come out well.

Batty masks on camera lenses don't work quite as well.

Point your camera at M31 with a 200-250mm lens and you'll be dancing happily round the garden.

PS. in photobucket if you hover over the box that says img code then paste it into the forum and your image will appear.
