It enables PCs/laptops with bluetooth capability to connect via bluetooth to what ever this unit is plugged into (DB9 serial port needed)So that you can control your Item such as mounts printers and such items that you have running via the normal serial ports lead This is a great addition and saves you all that rats nest of wires. So saves you tripping over in the dark .I have now got a integrated BT unit.
