In my job I often drive through Barwell, Leicestershire - thesite of a meteorite impact in 1965 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/eastmidlands/series7/barwell_meteorite.shtml ). I often find myself scanning the ground for a dark suspiscious looking rock in the faint hopes that there may still be afragment about waiting to be found.
