Guest TopCat Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Well, as patience isn't my middle name, I took the plunge and bought a Skywatcher Explorer 150P with EQ3-2 mount from FLO. It's assembled and I have had a few hours with it tonight. Just general looking around and appreciating the views. Highlight of the evening was seeing the bands on Jupiter and 4 of its moons. Totally gripped with it all, never thought I would be seeing sights like these. I can also understand why everyone has a moon filter. Excited just doesn't describe it.
