Craig Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 Couldn't believe how bad the moon looked through the scope. Take a look at your scope cap. Does it have a removable part? Jupiter started on the left of the moon last evening - then when the moon set this morning it was on the right. Was there a conjunction overnight or something? Guest Posted December 2, 2012 Share Posted December 2, 2012 The full Moon is a surprisingly interesting photographic target but I agree that double stars are good targets when most other DSOs are washed out.
