Orion from Ghana

I took this photo this evening using a compact digital camera of 8 seconds exposure. I took 5 frames and stacked them using Microsoft ICE. I used Paintshop Pro to split the colours and used the Arithmetic function to brighten the stars. Final tidy up was done using GIMP.

This is quite typical of many photos I take from home and also when I'm travelling on business (as now).

I also caught Jupiter in the same field.
