Owl Neb from last night.

A late Christmas pressie from the cloud gods came yesterday with the first clearish night in a long time.

Although mr Blobby was at full tilt lighting up the sky and lots of high clouds drifting by I just had to get the gear up and running.

I decided to go for any target I could that was away from the incessant glow.

I settled on the Owl Neb.

I managed to get 150 subs and after sorting out the bad ones ended up with 99 I could use.

Helios 127 Frac.

Canon 350 D - unmoded

99 - 90 second subs at ISO 800

21 Darks.

Stacked in DSS

Processed in PS 6.

Considering the conditions it turned out quite pleasing.
