Some local panoramas

Recommended Posts

With the astro weather being pants I went out and shot some panorams.

The first 2 are 14 photos each and the bottom one is 24 photos.

In the top picture the moon is peeking out from below the cloud, half way between the centre bush and the oak tree on the horizon to the right.

These are quick auto-stitches on location, I am going to try and manually stitch them as there is a loss of detail in these ones.

Where were the shots taken Andy?

Number 2 is my favourite as it reminds me some of the views from Brierley Forest golf course in Huthwaite.

They were taken near Kettering, the top two are an old ironstone quarry called Twywell hills and Dales and the bottom one is looking over the village I live in, called Burton Latimer.

If you ever venture across the A14 you pass both places near the 10 turbine windfarm at Burton Wold.

No. 3 is my favorite as well, a clearing sky, I remember that!

Don't let the camera fool you, the clouds were moving in!
