On my way home this lunchtime,I stopped beside a field near home and counted 17 Common Hares! They were running around in 2 and 3's. Looked like party time!! Hare today, gone tomorrow! Anybody else seen this many Hares in one field??

That is impressive. I grew up in the lovely Devon countryside and the most I ever saw together was 5! Nice one Ron-I bet that was a lovely sight. Did you manage a picture on your phone I them?

You get loads at Kelling around 6 in the morning coming out to ruminate before the camp wakes up. I've also seen dozens springing in and out of the hedge and headlights down Warren Lane in Sawley. But nothing spotted yet this time of year. :)
