Talking through the options with him, the HEQ5 Pro is the one I want. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to buy it from; ideally I'd like to get hold of it in the next 6 days or so, so I can use it on my week off. T A WOW Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Not sure on the cheapest price but FLO seem pretty good on delivery for me. Last big thing I ordered was my 250p ds OTA. Ordered it on Wednesday night about 8pm. Arrived about 8am on Friday morning, so less than 48 hours. If you click on the check stock button they usually get back to you within 30 min. Doc Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 James I think it depends how serious you are on photography. If you are serious then the NEQ6 as stability and tracking is everything. I'm currently interested in the planets and the moon, but talking with Ron today and looking at his DSO images I suspect I'd want to have a go at that in time too. So i need to upgrade these bolts (£52 for 4 off an ebay shop from another link in the mounts forum) and the saddle upgrade (£120 from FLO). Anything else whilst i'm at it?
