glider Posted April 5, 2013 Share Posted April 5, 2013 SBIG originally bundled this software with their cameras. It's a deconvolution tool. It takes a FIT 16bit file from Deep Sky Stacker and deconvolves it, then saves it back to a FIT file for import and final processing in CS3 Photoshop. Have a look at these before and after images of M51, I've done no other processing except stacking in DSS. Before...... After........ Impressive?
