I still seem to be suffering from a persistant noise problem which I shall investigate further today. Started off with M 104. Helios 127 Frac. Atik 314 L 7 x 600 second subs. 7 Flats. Stacked in DSS. Polished in PS 6. Moved round to NGC 3596. Helios 127 Frac. Atik 314 L 7 x 600 second subs. 7 Flats. Stacked in DSS. Polished in PS 6. Finished off with my old fav M 101. Helios 127 Frac. How are you focusing the 314? The fuzzy seems to be all tied up with this noise / snow effect I am getting. I cannot put my fingure on what is causing it. Going to check the lens cell on the frac today to see if I have any issues in there. What I might try tonight if its clear is to put the 314 on the back of the st80.
