Some Craters form tonight 20/04/2013

The Moon does seem to get in the way of dark skies but i thought i would try imaging some craters tonight. I kept with the bigger well known craters as they were easy to find. :)


 


Clavius, Plato and Coppernicus are the craters.


 


All images taken with 8 inch Helios newt, Televue 3x barlow and spc900. Approx 800 frames each stacked in registax 6.

That last one is really sharp; great work.

It was just a bit breezy at wymeswold, my dew shield was acting as a sail so i had a fair amount of wobble. I told felix i'm going to win the lottery so i can build an observatory :)
