Recommendations?

Any recommendations for replacement eye pieces for my 127mm mak? I've got a 2.5x powermate, and now a 32mm meade 4000 plossl, but fancy something a bit better in the 20mm range and 10mm range than the standard ones. Ideally £50 each on the second hand market, but could go up to £100.

Well using your 2.5x Powermate on your 32mm will give you a 12.8mm ep (close enough to 10mm), so really all you are after is 16mm in my opion (use that with your 2.5x powermate and you will have a 6.4mm ep).

So in my opion all you really need is a 16mm (or there abouts) so if you can then stretch to £200 for one ep, that will open up some more doors for you.

You are bang in the price bracket for a brand new one of these bad boys......

Thats the good thing about Powermates / barlows, they effectivly double your ep collection.

So your collection would be 32mm, 16mm, 12.8mm and a 6.4mm.

Good range there.
