Bootes Doubles - 20th April 2013

Hi all,

I managed to get out and have a go at a few more doubles. Having decided that Bootes was in the best position I made my list and went through them taking images as I went.

Some turned out ok, others were very poor, maybe conditions were not as good as I thought.

This time out of my list, the best resolution I managed was about 6.9" arc, this was STF 1888 or Xi Boo, I could only just make out the separation.

Got a couple of very wide ones too, Delta Boo and Mu Boo both at just over 100" arc and very bright too.

Unfortunately there were no show case doubles among them, all quite plain, but that didn't bother me as I enjoy capturing these doubles and adding them to my own catalogue.

The images are on my website at http://cathprotech.coffeecup.com/doubles_bootes.html

Attached on here should be images of the ones listed above, if I have done it right.

Thanks for your interest.

Martin
