thought i'd start this thread to see what targets people are planning to shoot.

with galaxyville in Leo/Virgo, and all the nebules starting to rise in the northeast-ish, ie Lyra/Cygnus, there are so many targets, and so few windows (ie weather).

for me i'm planning to go for NGC4631 (the Whale galaxy) in Canes Venatici, and another stab at the Ring nebula in Lyra.

SO, whats your next target/s????

Tough question...... The moon obviously will play a big part in my imaging targets until I complete that little set, as for DSO's I am somewhat undecided. I think I would like to go for in a rough order: Le Triplet, M51 (again), Bodes, Pac Man (again), Heart and Soul (properly this time), M31 (Again), M27 (Again). Possibly chuck in some mosaic of the Veil region, then we should be close on time to start back on Orion. Obviously the comet if it makes an appearance.

I'm hitting NGC 7000 / Calwell 20 the North American Nebula, hopefully with Ha, Oiii & Sii as well as LRGB and see what turns up.

I'm hoping to collect the RGB with the QHY8 pro / ED80 combo & the lum & narrowband with the SX h9 / 300mm f3.3 telephoto lens,

both in tandem on the EQ6. Fingers, toes & n*ts crossed. Oh and a few cloudless nights may help.........

I fancied a last stab at Panstarrs.

Unfortunately I could only pick it up with averted vision and passed trying to image it.

Glad I got it early in the month!

:D
