Finder / guider bracket for Eddy

Graham

Recommended Posts

I have made this bracket so Eddy can use his converted Sky watcher Finder scope as a guide scope on his scope.

Fabricated from odd bits of Aluminium I had laying around.

1. Fit the base plate to your scope using the M5 countersunk Allen bolt.

2. Slacken off the 3 M5 countersunk Allen bolts on the underside of the top plate.

3. Slide your Finder / Guider into the shoe and tighten the 3 M5 Allen bolts again to clamp it into position.

4. Attach the top plate to the base plate using the 2 M6 Allen bolts.

5. Your Finder / Guider will now rotate in the slots allowing you to find a star.
