philjay Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Conditions are a lot worse tonight compared o the other night, far more disturbance in the upper atmosphere even though there is less wind at ground level. At 1st I thought it was the scope not acclimated but its the atmospherics swimming the image. Anyrode that's enough excuses here's my attempt from tonight. Vintage Orion Optics 8" F6 scope with 3x barlow and QHY IMGOH camera. Captured in Firecapture and stacked in Registax. Best 1000 of 1500 frames, there are still loads of poor frames in there but I don't think its worth persuing anymore. Gonna give it another hour to see if it improves any as Saturn gets higher then call it a night I reckon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
