Old kit

Recommended Posts

Now I've got my new OTA and mount, I'm not sure what to do with the old stuff; Skywatcher 127, Synscan GOTO mount, Bahtinov mask, solar filter, SW eyepieces, electric focuser etc.

I don't desperately need the money but I think it is highly unlikely I'll use it. I also feel slighly attached to it.

What has everyone else done / regretted doing?

Keep it as a grab n go, and then if the attachment wears off after a few weeks and you don't use it, sell it.

I sold all my old kit several years ago. I was crazy to sell my 31mm Nagler, and would buy it back in a flash for the ridiculous price I let it go for.

If you do get an obsy James, you'll need some grab'n'go kit, so hold on to it while there's a chance you may use it (as Pete said!)  :)

that's a nice idea. I did think that. Anyone is more than welcome to borrow my kit. :-)
