proper first light, pity the moon wa saround


 


11xL600s and 7 x RGB 300s


 


not too happy with the calibration files on the colour will revisit those when I can


it is cropped so the subs match and the processing is off, but its first light and I am happy with result

it must be really quite faint with such long exposure times. Looks good though.

Ibbo, is it possible to see just one of the luminesence subs to see how much data they each collect?

James I will post the L up when I fire up the the pc with the data on


 


the longer exposures bring out the fainter detail and reduce the noise, standard imaging technique

I prefer the second image largely because it frames the galaxy nicer.


 


It's amazing to think how far away it is, and how faint it is yet how much detail you've picked up.
