I went with it anyway (the sky cleared sufficiently) as it seemed to be about opposite where Polaris was in Cartes Du Ciel and I realise now that my polar scope is not corrected ie it turns things upside down. I must have got it set up reasonably well thanks to you as the Go To worked pretty accurately and found stuff I'd never have seen with that much Moon.
