As Ibbo pointed out to me, it's not often you get to first light a scope on the day it arrives :) Fortune meant that we were up at Belper last night so I had to have a go really didn't I :)

Focus is a bit soft, PA is off, but it was more a proof of concept that it would focus with my gear than trying to nail a final image. Used a low Veil to run some Ha as a pre cursor to the autumn project. I've also taken the lazy approach to processing

good start there... not bad for first light.... but as you say not your normal focus... get that bhatinov ordered. nice to see those halos you had

not sooo apparent although main star look to be a pain.

Bahtinov is ordered :spititout: Big shiny stars like that always are, next time I will read up on trying to control it :)

Sweet. When did you get a Tak fsq? Didn't think you had the WO for very long!

Umm I got it on Friday - you're quite right I didn't have the WO very long but a small windfall when I was in Canada meant I had the funds to do something which I would ordinarily only have dreamed of :D

We do see a lot of images, but not many of this standard. Credit where it`s due, that is a pretty amazing image.
