I took delivery of my new telescope today (skyliner 200p) Could someone tell me why there is a small removable cap in the large dust cover on the end of the scope please? BAZ Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Don't look at the Sun without an appropriate filter in place, (NOT a filter that fit's in an eyepiece) although having the small cap off reduces the aperture, it will still cause immense damage to your eye.
