I got an Antares Twist Lock Adaptor from RVO and use it all the time and collimate with it no problem!

Thats what I'm saying Ron they are very good and worth every penny, makes collimation really accurate.

Actually Felix - I tried to collimate the secondary but it was to tight so I left it well alone. I didn't want to break your new toy so soon after you go it (I can be a tad heavy handed sometimes). But the primary was easy to collimate and by eye the secondary didn't seem to be out at all anyway.

Some folks prefer a Cheshire to a laser collimator - they say it's more accurate - but I don't see how it beats a well collimated laser - probably cos I never had one. Maybe Doc can shed some light ..... :)

Man this is all way over my head! If I were to get a laser collimator it would be a Hotech. I quite like (if I can afford it) to get the best. Anyway we can chat more about collimating tomorrow :)
