Canon 10X30 Image Stabilized Binoculars

I have the opportunity to purchase a pair of Canon 10X30 Image Stabilized Binoculars.

They seem a very good price for secondhand  binos.

Does anyone have any views on these binoculars for both terrestrial and astro use?

I've used 10x50 stabilised binocs before and they're brilliant. I've no idea about the optics in the one's you're looking at but Canon's a safe bet - and if it's a good price then go for it - they're fantastic. :)

I have only heard good things, and that being stabilised, the smaller aperture is compensated for and allows very crisp images.

John Hurst let my wife use a pair one evening, she has problems holding bino's steady, I think he had to fight her to get them back. She loved them.
